Dropbox - A Really Cool Computer App

I came across Dropbox tonight and it is just awesome. I have two computers - a laptop and a desktop. Dropbox allows me to easily sync the files on each computer.

You create a dropbox account (you'll start off with 2GB of storage space, but use my link and you'll get 250mb more). It's free. Then you install the program on both computers. A folder will be created under My Documents called My Dropbox. Simply save any documents, pictures, etc to this folder (you can create subfolders) and they will be automatically transferred to your storage drive on their system, which will copy them to any other computers you have registered.
Also, you can view/access your files directly from their website as well.

This would have come in so handy for me when I was in school.

There are two downsides:

1. The data is stored on their storage space, so you would want to be careful with sensitive information (not that I have anything they'd want to see anyway).
2. Since the data is stored on their system, you are limited to 2GB (you can get 250MB for each person you refer, up to 3GB, which would max out your total space to 5GB). This really is plenty for me.
